I was researching Norma Pitfield and was wondering if she was a Tutor at Thomas Huxley College during the 1960s to 1970s?

    Hoping you can help me,

    Mandy Harlow

    Dear Mandy
    I was a student at Buckingham Gate Sec School from 1959 – 1964.London SW1
I had an Arts teacher called Norma Pitfield, I am not sure if this is the same Norma Pitfield you are looking for.

This may be the Norma Pitfield who was my Course Leader on the Art Teachers Certificate Course at Trent Park College, 1976-77.
I am curious to know if she is particularly as I now would very much like to obtain a copy of her book about drawing which she published sometime in 1977 and which I never obtained at the time.

    Dear Anna,

We have now emigrated and have no contact – other than the internet – with UK artists, but usually, to be included in a joint exhibition, you just have to form a group of fellow artists and organise the event. If you are new to Suffolk, Aldeburgh has a number of art groups that you could join. Visit other local exhibitions, talk to artists and comment about your work and ideas. Another option, since you have a studio, would be to join Suffolk Open Studios. (http://www.suffolkopenstudios.co.uk/). Good luck!
