Lioubov Ujvatkina

My works are like the main characters of stories told through gesture and colour. Emotional content and strong impressions invite the viewer to reflect and appraise a little bit of their past in the present time.

Lioubov is a young artist who is now completing her degree in Visual Arts at the I.U.N.A. (Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte) She has participated in several group and individual exhibitions, obtaining 1st Mention in engraving, XXII Salón Estímulo de Estudiantes, Municipalidad de Avellaneda, Secretaría de Cultura y Promoción de las Artes and the First Prize in engraving, XI Salón Primavera, Municipalidad de San Fernando.

I have been painting for many years. I spent several years at Art Schools and artists’ workshops in order to learn different techniques.

I have been painting for many years. I spent several years at Art Schools and artists’ workshops in order to learn different techniques.

After 30 years of producing figurative paintings, in the last two years I have been more open to abstract art. I am also dedicating myself to “art objects”, as we call here those objects that are realised from an interesting concept or idea, be it philosophical or religious. My next work will be called “Línea Divisoria”.

Frederick Ellis-Hawkins

Frederick Ellis-Hawkins is a well known watercolour artist from the Lincolnshire Wolds. Frederick’s artwork is exhibited locally and many of his paintings can be seen in homes around the county. His paintings are of the English and Scottish countrysides, acting as memories of his travels.

Frederick and his wife, Mary, are both watercolourists whose works are usually seen complementing each other in exhibitions.
