This term is used when a painting is worked in a number of different media, for example, watercolor, gouache, coloured ink and pastel.

We have received an invitation to the Private View, but unfortunately, due to other commitments we will not be able to attend. Nevertheless, this is an exhibiton that we must not – and we will not – miss.

The work of this group of Suffolk artists, as we have seen from previous years, is a delight to the eyes. Each one, in their own style and medium, produces artworks that you will want to take home.

A hue refers to the gradation of color within the optical spectrum, or visible spectrum, of light. “Hue” may also refer to a particular color within this spectrum, as defined by its dominant wavelength, or the central tendency of its combined wavelengths. For example, a light wave with a central tendency within 565-590 nm will be yellow.
